I am an IFBB Pro 212 Bodybuilder with 10 Pro titles to include the 2008 Mr. Olympia 202 Title. I garnered pro status winning the 2002 Dallas Nationals. I got the Nickname "The Giant Killer" after winning the 2005 Olympia wildcard. I am one of the top pros who have the longest competition streak actively competing since 2004, alongside Dexter Jackson. I am competitive on almost any aspect in life to include BBQ!
My additional interests are music, bbq competition and gunsmithing. In addition , I am the only 20yr retired USAF (retired MSgt) pro in the world currently. I have been all around the world and traveling is one of the greatest perks of doing what I do. I am married to a supportive and awesome wife, Nicki, whom without her help I would not be half of what I am today. Two daughters round out the crew and definitely a duo of differing personalities!
What do you like about our products? How do you use them? And do you have any favorite flavors?
I like the fact that the products introduced are actually made by the company and not sourced elsewhere like so many others. I use the Whey Isolate, Post Workout the most. I am a vanilla guy because the flavor mixes with almost anything. I train 4 days a week, so these products get used every time. The Post Workout Peach Mango is awesome and used to facilitate my recovery after beating myself up in the gym regularly.
What is your overall athletic goal and what’s next for you?
My overall goal is to win as many titles as possible before it's all over with! To be the best you have to beat the best. Next on the horizon is to capture that elusive Arnold Classic Trophy!
What does a typical workout look like and how do you train?
My training is conducted and designed by Dr. Scott Stevenson. He's been a close friend and confidant for over 13yrs and I trust his judgement on training. The training is called "Fortitude" and it can be found via the internet by searching for the title. It is a form of HIIT training with some major modification to it. I train 4 days a week no matter what time of season it is. Not easy to explain but easy to demonstrate.
What are your favorite tracks to workout to?
I listen to heavy rock while training, that's just what I do. Since I'm a drummer, that music style suits my training style and life! My selected artists include Sevendust, Testament, Anthrax and others along those lines.
