Dean Balabis is an IFBB Pro Men's Physique Athlete and 3x Champ, who has competed on the Mr. Olympia stage 3x. He first started competing in 2013 and earned his pro card a year later at his first National Show USA in 2014.
In less than 3 months of earning his Pro Card he won an overall show, which automatically qualified him for Mr. Olympia 15' and placed 6th. The following two years, he qualified for Mr. Olympia and placed top 10.
Prior to becoming a physique competitor, he was heavily involved in CrossFit and was focused more on performance vs aesthetics. Even after becoming CrossFit certified he began to see the unpleasant risk to injury and loss of hard earned muscle. It was later suggested that he start competing due to his overall genetic physique and desire to build muscle. I am NASM certified and continue to evolve in learn different methods of health and fitness. He is most known for his creative training methods and emphasize on correct form and technique. He is a firm believer in mastering your craft and always be open minded to learn new methods.
