Protects only the thyroid gland from uptake of radioactive iodine. Certain forms of iodine help your thyroid gland work right. Most people get the iodine they need from iodized foods like salt or fish. The thyroid can store or hold only a certain amount of iodine.*
Potassium Iodide (KI) 65mg Its use is specifically intended for short-term emergencies, providing a shield against iodine-131 exposure, a common radioactive isotope released during nuclear incidents.*
SUGGESTED USE
Take as directed by physician or emergency personnel for short-term, emergency use only. Take no more than 1 dose in 24 hours.*

Adult (150lbs and up): 2 Tablets Daily (130mg)
3+ (up to 150lbs): 1 Tablet Daily (65mg)
